Gaslamp took over Taco Surf-meets-Tijuana volleyball bar LIVE BAIT, which was my favorite bar in California. I was hooked. I don't frequent Gaslamp, but it's the best music venue in Long Beach (outside bar Alex's and DiPiazza's, which plays more hardcore, far less "radio-friendly" kids and geezers).
